The 55+ Games will be held September 9-12, 2026 and will see 25 sports and activities offered for the 2500+ anticipated participants.

The 55+ BC Games are an important part of the BC sport system and the largest annual multi-sport gathering event in the province. The Games offer the opportunity to celebrate sport and active living with other participants from across the province and experience the hospitality of the host city.

Each year the Games attract approximately 2,500 participants and require over 1,200 volunteers to stage and deliver the Games in the Host Community.

Officials Development Clinics

Through the Eyes of a Driving Judge

September 11–13, 2026 • North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo Association

Gain a judge’s‑eye view of what makes a winning drive. This three‑day clinic with FEI Driving Judge Francois Bergeron offers practical insight into how performances are evaluated, what details matter most, and how to present your best turnout. Held alongside the Driving Competition at the 2026 55+ Games, the event blends Q&A sessions, live demonstrations, and hands‑on judging practice.

  • Led by renowned FEI 3* Judge Francois Bergeron

This three‑day clinic with multi‑carded judge Jodie Moore offers clear insight into how ranch horse performances are evaluated, including correctness, maneuver quality, authenticity, and overall presentation. Held alongside the Ranch Horse Competition at the 2026 55+ Games, the event blends Q&A sessions, live demonstrations, and hands‑on judging practice.
