*UPDATE: More info from the Township of Langley: http://www.tol.ca/Current-News-Initiatives/Current-News/Article/1956/16-Avenue-Corridor-Study

Langley and South Surrey residents are invited to this open forum to learn about the changes proposed for the 16th Avenue corridor and the proposed 77 acre truck stop in South Surrey at 192nd and 16th.  This is a chance to ask questions and voice concerns in view of the plan for Surrey and Abbotsford to send more traffic and trucks through South Langley via 16th Avenue. These proposed changes will greatly impact many horse properties and the recreational riding opportunities currently in the area.

Day: Wednesday, October 21
Time: 7 pm – 9 pm
Where: Glenwood Elementary – 20785 24th Avenue

The meeting will start with an absolutely factual review of the short to long term plans for 16th; followed by a presentation on the proposed Surrey Truck Stop and concludes with a review of the online survey concerning 16th that will be on the Township of Langley website next week (this survey was added as residents were not well informed on when the first one was conducted this summer).
