SCHEDULE – Equestrian will be held Wednesday, August 23; Thursday, August 24; Friday, August 25; Saturday, August 26
There are 12 zones across the province and each zone is responsible for registering participants who reside in their zone
Participants are also required to be current members of the BC Seniors Games Society.https://www.55plusbcgames.org/membership
Each zone is responsible for collecting registration forms, including membership forms and associated fees. Once you are registered, you will receive a confirmation email.
Stabling: Please note: if you are stabling on the grounds, a separate MANDATORY $50.00 stall deposit cheque is required on check in.
Competition numbers will not be assigned without providing a separate stall deposit cheque. At the end of the event when you have stripped and swept your stall the deposit cheque will be returned to you. At the close of registration anyone reserving stabling will be contacted by HCBC for payment
Stabling Costs : $40.00 + GST per horse, per day– (overnight is considered 2 days)
Haul in fee : $25.00 per day
Tack Rooms are complimentary but subject to availability

Getting to the 55+ Games: Horse Trailers Qualify for BC Ferries Commercial Savers Fares:
Commercial Saver fares from $4.71 per foot (33% off), including a FREE reservation are available on select less busy sailings between Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island for travel between June 15 and October 12, 2022.
Saver fares must be booked and paid for online in advance with a credit card, TC and deferred payment are not accepted. Promotion is applicable for commercial vehicles over 5,500 kg registered GVW (no buses or vehicles over 9 feet wide).

- Navigators may be under the age of 55 and should register as volunteers, unless wanting to participate in any of the Games events outside of the Equestrian Competition, then they should register as supporters
- Navigators are required for all entries except VSE and Small Ponies in the Marathon phase and for any multiple turnout competitors.
- Same qualified Navigator may be used for multiple entries
- Competitors may enter with more than one / different entries as long as they are entered in separate divisions or levels

Not to have jumped over 2’9” in competition
Hunter Hack, horses to be shown at the walk, trot and canter, and to jump a line of two fences no higher than 2’3”. Distance between the two fences will not be changed for ponies.
Competitors may not enter more than one horse in this division, but may enter in a separate or different discipline.
