Special Notice to Members
Dear Member,
Equine Canada is pleased to present you with the proposed EC By-laws and Articles of Continuance.
The proposed By-laws and Articles of Continuance are the result of extensive consultation and collaboration with EC’s key partners and stakeholder groups, including Provincial/Territorial Equestrian Sport Organizations (P/TSOs), Sport, and Industry.
By working together, the EC Board, EC Governance Committee, and the By-laws Taskforce (including representatives from the core groups of provinces, sport, and industry), have created proposed By-laws that not only meet the requirements of the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (CNCA), but also represent a framework that all parties believe will allow EC to be repositioned as a leading equestrian and equine federation premised on the core values of respect, diversity, inclusivity, service, excellence, and volunteerism.
We encourage you to get informed, get engaged, and vote.
