Join us for our 2017 AEF Annual Provincial Instructor/Coach/Trainer Professional Update. This weekend will be filled with one of a kind professional development geared towards our instructors/coaches/trainers. Whether you are certified or not, we want to welcome you to join us for this educational weekend aimed at providing relevant industry information specially designed in a format that our instructors/coaches/trainers can relate too. Our fantastic industry presenters are excited at the opportunity to help educate our key stakeholders. Our Saturday will focus on “the horse” with speakers Tina Watkins talking about the body, and Amanda Kroeker talking about nutrition. Our Sunday will focus on “the rider” with April Clay speaking about sports psychology, and Carmen Hon educating about concussions and new injury protocol.
Video conferencing will be available for those whom are unable to join us in person and wish to participate abroad, and catering will be provided to those who will be joining us in person. Room rates at the Pomeroy Inn and Suites have also been negotiated for participants. Preferred registration rates available only for EC/NCCP certified instructors/coaches, as well as PD credits granted!
Note: This event is only open to instructors/coaches/trainers – certified or not. If no certification is held, proof of competency will be required due to the caliber of this event. If you are self-coached we would welcome you to join in with us as well!

Catering: AM catering includes freshly Brewed Gourmet Coffee, Decaf Coffee, a selection of international teas & bottles of premium fruit juice alongside assorted mini pastries, croissants & muffins, and fresh sliced fruit selection each morning. PM catering on Saturday includes hand carved Alberta Beef with onion gravy, roasted potato wedges, kaiser bun, carrots & peas, country coleslaw and apple pie. PM catering on Sunday includes 6oz sirloin burgers and kaisers with all the fixings, served with macaroni cheddar salad and garden chopped salad, Phoenix rubbed jumbo potato wedges with ranch dip and chocolate cream pie.
