Aldergrove, BC – January 10, 2025 – Equine Register Canada is excited to announce a new partnership with Horse Council British Columbia (HCBC) to improve horse identification, efficient lost and found reporting, and enhance biosecurity for the industry.

Equine Register Canada’s Central Equine Register serves as a comprehensive data hub designed to centralize all equine identification data, ensuring lifelong identification for every horse in Canada. Each horse receives free registration in the Central Equine Register, and with the complimentary ChipChecker tool, owners and professionals can easily search and verify horses within the system. This seamless integration of equine data ensures greater security, traceability, and management for the Canadian equine community.

Equine Register Canada’s Digital Stable is a user-friendly platform available on both web and mobile applications, designed to help horse owners efficiently organize and manage their horses’ health records, vaccination histories, and essential documents—all in one convenient location. Key features include a GPS Ride Tracker for monitoring rides and tracking training or recreational activities, seamless integration with Global Vet Link (GVL) for easy retrieval and management of Coggins results, secure document storage for individual horses, and much more. The Digital Stable simplifies equine management, offering a comprehensive solution for horse owners on the go.

Equine Register Canada’s HorseID tags and lost horse reporting features ensure that horses can be quickly identified and reunited with their owners in the event they get loose or during an emergency. These reliable identification tags, paired with a streamlined reporting process, provide peace of mind knowing that help is just a few clicks away if a horse goes missing.

“This partnership with Horse Council British Columbia is a step forward in ensuring that every horse in BC has secure, lifelong identification and access to the tools needed for health and emergency management,” said Kristy Laroche of National Strategic Partner Manager Equine Register Canada. “The Digital Stable will offer horse owners a comprehensive, easy-to-use system to manage their horses’ identification, health records, and more, all in one place.”

As part of this partnership, HCBC members receive a 15% discount for the Digital Stable Plus subscription,
