In partnership with SportMedBC, Fortius Sport & Heath, and the BC Injury Research and Prevention Unit, viaSport Media will be hosting a free webinar on Concussions: An invisible epidemic and the need to standardize care. This one-hour educational seminar will be led by Dr. Shelina Babul, Associate Director and Sports Injury Specialist at the BC Injury Research and Prevention Unit (BCRIPU).

In addition to a brief background on concussions, the webinar will highlight what’s happening in sport, current research, and policy and practice. Dr. Babul will also be walking through the concussion awareness training tool (CATT) to standardize practice among various audiences. At the end of the session, webcast viewers will have the opportunity to email in questions.
